Office & Yard Administrator

Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Office & Yard Administrator to join our client based in a busy industrial yard. This is a short term leave cover assignment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is happy to split their time between the office and the yard, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to help wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls.
  • Processing purchase orders and consumable requests.
  • Data entry, filing and maintaining company records.
  • Assisting with stocktakes and updating inventory systems.
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the office.
  • Assisting with scheduling deliveries and coordinating site paperwork.
  • General office administration and supporting the wider team.
  • Keeping the office, lunchroom and shared areas clean and tidy.
  • Assisting with basic yard administration and paperwork.
  • Helping maintain a clean, organised and safe yard environment.
  • Completing general housekeeping duties around the site.
  • Providing hands-on support with miscellaneous tasks as required.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous administration or office experience.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help across different areas of the business.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to work in both an office and industrial yard environment.
  • A forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
